Nice shots. Can't believe you actually want to be out in the cold with so many people pushing and cursing. :) I was in Time Square New York on the 31st December 2002 waiting for New Year's Day to come along with thousands of people. It was an interesting experience.
Thanks! At first, it wasn't cold, only few minus degrees. Secondly, it was nothing like a rush hour in a subway (we don't have one). Just some hundreds of people celebrating :) They all disappeared after the fire works and the city was again empty and deserted as usual.
love the fireworks and the shot of the river. did you have to use a special setting for the fireworks? they turned out so bright and clear! someday I'll get there in the winter to see the river all lit up like that. it looks so cool.
