Cold weather continues. -22 degrees and windy weather didn't bother the lonely Whooper Swan.

That second photo is amazing. Just beautiful like out of some sort of fairy tale. The mother in me, though, makes me want to swoop that swan out of the frigid water and bring it in to sit by a cozy fireplace with me. Swans probably don't care for hot chocolate, but it might like a blanket and a pillow :-)

Probably it would love chocolate! On the other hand, I believe it's happy to be free and wild and could fly to south if living here becomes too cold.
