Due to bad weather conditions, I'm returning home one day later I had planned. Yesterday, ferries between Estonia and Finland weren't sailing. Today, they are and I'm on board. This is wild and fun. The ferry goes up and down on the big waves and the whole ship is like a roller coaster.

The trip to Poland through Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania is closing to its end...

P.S. The sunny picture of Tallinn was taken when I arrived in Estonia! Now they don't recommend the use of the "sundeck". Hmm, perhaps I'll go there anyway...

 

The old town does not look like the first picture. I'm not sure if they just cover the buildings but most of them are really beautiful and well restored.

Only a few hundred meters from the modern centre there's a market area for locals. Why not for tourists too. Clothes, food and other daily bases things for sale. The building was for food stores and the open area mainly for clothes.

The journey to Estonia started from Helsinki. The Port of Helsinki is so ugly that the uglyness turns almost to fascination. Of course there are ships...

I'm heading to Estonia, I'll be back when I'm sober...

From Friday to Sunday I was spending my employer's recreation fund money in Estonia. We sailed from Helsinki to Tallinn. From Friday evening to Saturday morning we were with 2800 other drunk Finns in the 212-meters-long cruiser Galaxy. I think there is no other place in this galaxy where you can see so many drunk people eating, drinking beer, dancing and having fun without sleeping till dawn.
