GREAT! I swear I did not listen to the music too loud! Two of my speakers just broke without any rational reasons :(

 

Today, I saw James Blunt's gig in Helsinki. A lot of energy, touching songs... Such a great performer!

I don't remember if I mentioned that my new guitar has arrived! Isn't it beautiful! I've practised almost daily and I can already (almost) play some "Apache" notes. Sorry Hank!

Today I recorded the first demo version of a song from my upcoming Guitar Hero record. I do have some mercy on you and don't put it here but give you instead this old version played by some less known band.

Am I stupid or what! I ordered ANOTHER guitar! I haven't  even learnt much to play the first one. 

( But isn't she beautiful... ) 

Okay, I promise I'm not gonna post any band photos for a while. I'll put my Iron Maiden T-shirt into a closet and change myself back to a person who I really am or pretend to be. Before that, I wanted to show these Ankkarock POTF pics and then I'll close my archives...

 

Apocalyptica played in Ankkarock 2008...


 

Ankkarock was a rainy happening but it didn't spoil my joy. I saw what I wanted, Iris, Apocalyptica, HIM... The last but not least band was PMMP and they gave their best. For me PMMP was a positive surprise and the best band of the whole festival weekend. I shot some pictures with my small Olympus but probably nobody wants to see any band pictures more (?)

That's part of my disguise during the next weekend when I going to the Ankkarock ("the Duck Rock") NOBODY is going to recognise me!

My nephew had two ticket to Iron Maiden's concert in Tampere today. He's almost 12-years but for some unknown reason, his parents didn't let him go there with a friend (or alone!). I was asked to go there with him. That was because NOBODY else promised to do it. So I had to sacrifice myself again.

It wasn't that bad, 29999 fans and me were at the Tampere stadium and saw the gig. I had really good earplugs and could hardly hear my own thoughts. I even bought an Iron Maiden T-shirt! I'll probably wear it when I go to Ankkarock festival.

Perhaps we have too many summer festivals in Finland...



Well, later in the evening some people appeared when Miljoonasade started their gig.

The lake Suontee is free of ice. I can sail to my island again. In fact, I'm packing my gears...

Today I witnessed Retropop's gig in Ideapark. The band comes from Lempäälä (Finland). They have released two singles and their first CD will come out next June...
